The Minister assured that during a military emergency, Ukrainians need to trust only the reports of the central authorities that control the situation in the country. At the same time, Tkachenko urged not to trust and not to spread rumors that soldiers or military equipment were seen in the neighboring city, for example.
Alexander Tkachenko also asks not to trust the media that have a Kremlin footprint, Russian domain names, owners or founders, or have repeatedly spread fakes.
“This also applies to pseudo-Ukrainian telegram channels financed by the FSB and even covert propaganda on Facebook or SMS. Remember, only critical thinking will allow all of us to adequately assess the situation around us. Therefore, carefully check all the information you see and hear during a military emergency, “he concluded.
It will be recalled that during quarantine measures imposed earlier in Ukraine due to the threat of a coronavirus pandemic, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) found 154 agitators who were spreading fake facts about the coronavirus. This was reported by the press service of the SBU on Monday, April 13.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian occupation and hostilities caused the uncontrolled part of the Donetsk region more than 1.3 trillion Russian rubles. This was reported in the so-called “public commission for the assessment of economic damage.”
