Mentor Pavlo Mikulchyk has been appointed head coach of the Donbas hockey club.

The 45-year-old Belarusian specialist signed a contract under the “2 + 1” scheme.
Mikulchyk led the Donetsk team in the playoffs as acting head coach and led the Donetsk team to the eighth “gold” of the Ukrainian championships.
Before moving to Donbas, the specialist led HC Kramatorsk and led the team to the quarterfinals of the UHL playoffs in the 20/21 season. Prior to joining the Kramatorsk team, Mikulchyk headed the Belarusian HC Lida. In the 2013/14 season, he was the assistant head coach of the second team of Zhlobin’s Metallurg in the Premier League, after which he was the coach of Dynamo-Molodechno for three seasons and another season at Salihorsk’s Shakhtar.
It is noteworthy that during the player’s stay, he became the champion of Belarus four times.
