There will be 26 rescue posts on the beaches of Kyiv this season.

It is noted that in 2021 more than 250 applications were submitted to the Kyiv Lifeguard Service.
After the selection, a team of 120 rescuers was formed, who set the standards for swimming: 50 meters to 1 minute, 250 meters to 8 minutes, 20 meters underwater.
According to the report, an open training of the capital’s rescuers took place on the municipal beach “Venice”. During the event, the lifeguards practiced the elements of the rescue operation, first aid, as well as the sport of life racing discipline “Beach flags”.
Which beaches will work in Kyiv
The State Food and Consumer Service of Kyiv have already checked the preparation of 14 city beaches for the bathing season. These are the beaches in the Dnieper area: “Venice”, “Rainbow”, “Children’s”, “Golden”, “Youth”, “Suburban Slobidka”, “Rainbow”, “Telbin” and “Central”; in Desnyansky – beaches “Troyeshchyna” and “Chortory”; in Holosiivskyi – “Galerny” and in Obolonskyi – “Verbny” and “Pushcha-Vodytsya”.
It is noted that during the inspection certain violations of the requirements of state sanitary norms and rules of maintenance of the territories of settlements were established.
Earlier, the Kyiv City State Administration stated that this year 9 municipal beaches in Kyiv are applying for the Blue Flag international environmental award.
Bathing water will be tested when the temperature in the ponds exceeds 18 degrees.
