It is noted that the charity event was made possible by the participation of the community and the hard work of volunteers.
“We are grateful to everyone who took part in this charity work with us. We are grateful to everyone who brought things for the Marathon. Many people responded to our offer to join the Marathon, not only the city of Toronto and the surrounding area but also many residents of other cities, who found the opportunity to come and deliver things that day. We are grateful to the volunteers who carefully and carefully selected and compiled each item. After all, we formed packs in accordance with the needs and requests we received from needy families, volunteers in Ukraine, and charities. We are grateful to St. Demetrius Church (135 La Rose Ave.), where we were kindly provided with a large space for our large-scale work, where our volunteers were able to work at a social distance, ”the organizers said.
We also thank the permanent sponsors who are always ready to support charitable projects: Buduchnist Credit Union BCU, Ukrainian Credit Union UCU, Meest Corporation, Oksana, and Victor Onisko.
“In addition to financial support, which is invaluable, we always feel that these institutions share our values and demonstrate a willingness to participate in charity events aimed at helping Ukraine,” the statement said.
Therefore, gratitude is expressed to the parents and children of Sadochok Sadochok Ukrainian Preschool and Mrs. Galyna Bilous. Sadochka’s parents raised funds, bought the necessary things, and provided ready-made parcels for the Marathon.
The organizers also thank Maria Antoniv, Maria, who organized the art exhibition-sale at the Marathon, and the artists who provided their paintings for sale. Confident, happy buyers will have not only beautiful works of art that will become an interior decoration but also the joy of participating in a good cause.
In addition, this time during the Marathon, the initiative to bake and sell pancakes gave a great financial result.
“We are grateful to everyone who bought the pancakes and we hope that everyone tasted good. Proceeds from the sale were used to pay for shipping services. All proceeds from the sale of pancakes were profit, not revenue, as all products were provided by members of the Fourth Wave” added the Fourth Wave.
It will be recalled that the Fourth Wave Canada celebrated its 17th anniversary on February 6 in Canada.
