A charity boxing evening took place in the Pakistani city of Karachi. A tragedy took place in one of the battles.
Boxer Aslam Khan died during the fight. The victim missed a powerful blow from his opponent Wali Khan and fell on the canvas. The referee traditionally started counting to ten, although the Pakistani was already unconscious.
Aslam Khan was taken to hospital, but his life was not saved.
The organizers of the boxing evening were accused of negligence. It is said that these duels had the status of a charity, and the organizers did not make sure that a team of medics was on duty near the ring.
