In Ukraine, the beginning of the admission campaign to higher education institutions is approaching. Already, future entrants have the opportunity to assess their own chances of participating in the competitive selection for universities.

This year, the Ministry of Education has determined the minimum passing competitive scores, having which, entrants can count on admission to universities on a budget form of education.
In particular, in 2021, entrants who will apply for a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, or veterinary) on the basis of complete secondary education at the expense of the state budget, must have a competitive score of at least 125. Otherwise, the entrant will not be admitted to the competitive selection.
In addition, the Ministry of Education has set minimum values for the number of points for admission to medical specialties – “Dentistry”, “Medicine“, “Pediatrics” in the second and third competitive subjects at a level of not less than 150 points. Exceptions will be entrants who have a competitive score of more than 175 points.
The competitive score for admission on the basis of complete general secondary education in the specialty “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy” can not be less than 130 points.
At the same time, the competitive score for admission to the specialties of knowledge “Law”, “Public Administration” and “International Relations” must be at least 140 points.
In addition, in 2021 there will be a reduced volume of state orders for legal specialties. In particular, the admission of entrants by state or regional order to obtain a bachelor’s degree in all forms of education, as well as to obtain a bachelor’s, master’s degree in correspondence education in “Law” and “International Law” in 2021 will not be.
