A quick pie with black currants will solve the dilemma. The name speaks for itself. The dough is kneaded in just 5 minutes, poured into a mold, berries on top, all in the oven, and wait. The result is a fragrant summer dessert.
A budget set of products, simplicity of execution, loose dough, not too sweet filling – all this should tip the scales of choosing a recipe in favor of a quick pie with black currants.
Ingredients:
300 g of black currant
1.5 cups of flour
0.75 cups of sugar
1/3 cup milk
100 g of butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
powdered sugar
Preparation:
Melt the butter and cool.
Beat eggs with sugar until foamy, add butter and milk and mix well.
Sift the flour together with the baking powder, pour into the egg-milk mixture, and beat until smooth.
Pour the prepared dough into a form greased with butter and sprinkled with flour, flatten and layout on it lightly sprinkled with flour and powdered sugar currants.
Bake at 200 ° C for about 45 minutes.
On a side note
After baking, the surface of the cooled cake can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
As a filling, you can use cherries, red currants, blueberries, blueberries, or berry mix.
In winter, use frozen berries for this cake.
