The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court will choose a measure of restraint for ex-judge Mykola Chaus on August 4.

“It was postponed to August 4, at the request of NABU,” the source said.
As the lawyer of Nikolay Chaus Rostislav Kravets declared, the detained ex-judge is found and he isn’t detained yet and is really under the protection of SBU.
Earlier, the Security Service announced that it had detained ex-judge Mykola Chaus on legal grounds.
The department is aware of his whereabouts and said that the detainee is currently receiving the necessary medical care.
As it became known from the media, on Friday, July 30, a resident of the village of Mazurivka, Vinnytsia region, called the police and said that a man named Chaus Mykola Oleksiyovych, born in 1966, had appeared in the village.
Chaus allegedly confirmed that he had been abducted by unknown individuals and confirmed that he was a former judge of the Dniprovsky District Court of Kyiv.
As Chaus’s lawyer Oleksandr Vyshnevyi reported, NABU detectives were sent to the Vinnytsia region to detain him.
NABU called on law enforcement officers to hand over the suspect to a former judge. News media reported that the accused Chaus was intercepted by the Security Service of Ukraine.
Chaus’s lawyer Rostislav Kravets was not allowed to visit the detainee for two days. The SBU stated that there was no official former judge in the building.
