We use cabbage mainly in salads, stew, roll cabbage rolls. And why not make pancakes from cabbage?
Cabbage pancakes are prepared very quickly. In just half an hour you can fry bitter pancakes, which will be a full dinner for the whole family.
Ingredients:
500 g of cabbage
1 bulb
2 cloves garlic
1 egg
1 tablespoon flour
dill
oil
salt
Preparation:
Chop the cabbage very finely or grate it, add salt, and mash well so that it releases the juice.
To the prepared cabbage add grated onion, chopped dill and garlic passed through a press, beat the egg, add flour and mix well until smooth.
Fry the oil in a frying pan and spread the cooked mass with a tablespoon. Fry over medium heat on both sides until ruddy crust.
On a side note:
Serve cabbage pancakes with sour cream, natural yogurt, adjika, or any other favorite sauce.
In addition to dill, you can use parsley, cilantro, basil, or any other greens or replace them with ready-made dry mixes – Italian or Provencal herbs.
Increase or decrease the amount of flour depending on the dough. It should be like thick sour cream.
