Fish should not be cooked for a long time, as this may affect its safety. Moreover, the cooking process should not be done on a high heat, and the temperature should be adjusted until the fish is just barely boiling. Due to the fact that its flesh is tender, a large fire will not be needed.
Depending on the type of fish, cooking takes 4-5 minutes, in some cases – 6-8, but in general – no more than 10 minutes, if a person does not want to get cream of fish soup.
You can easily steam the fish, and this will leave a lot of nutrients in it, not to mention it will be nutritional. It should be cooked in already boiling water, so that it does not take much time to prepare. Again, it shouldn’t take more than ten minutes, and to give the fish a good taste or smell, you should put it on spice leaves or put dry herbs next to it.
It is important to remember that fish should be cooked in cold, salty water.
So this should be taken care of in advance. If for some reason you need to cook a whole fish, make a few slits along the fibers to preserve the taste and shape of the fish itself. But if it is not urgently needed, it is better to cut it into portions at once.
By the way, the water or what the fish is cooking should not be much. Simply put, the less liquid, the faster and better the fish will cook.
The broth that may remain after cooking does not need to be poured, as it may turn into a sauce.
