kyiv.Ukraine.Ukraine Gate – November 20,2021- During the past 24hrs, the OSCE SMM has recorded 715 ceasefire violations in Donetsk Oblast and 245 such violations in Luhansk Oblast.
This was reported in the daily report № 272/2021 , published by the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) on November 19, 2021.
“In the Donetsk region, the SMM recorded 715 ceasefire violations, including 98 explosions (6 munitions ruptures, 2 explosions in the air and 90 explosions of unknown origin),” the report said.
Most ceasefire violations were recorded in areas north of n. Shirokino village (controlled by the government, 100 km south of Donetsk).
During the previous reporting period, the Mission recorded 408 ceasefire violations in the area (some also in areas north of Shirokino).
“In Luhansk oblast, the SMM recorded 245 ceasefire violations, including 130 explosions (1 explosion from the original fire, 31 ammunition ruptures and 98 explosions of unknown origin),” the report said.
Most of the ceasefire violations were recorded at the breeding site in the area of n. Zolote village (controlled by the government, 60 km west of Luhansk) and in areas near it.
During the previous reporting period, the SMM recorded 256 ceasefire violations in the Luhansk region (some also occurred in areas near the breeding area in the Zolotoye area).
Over the past 24 hours, the number of ceasefire violations in eastern Ukraine increased by 95% and averaged 739 violations per day.
