The Verkhovna Rada continued the work of the TSK regarding the investigation into the circumstances of the death of People’s Deputy of Ukraine Anton Polyakov. People’s deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko reported this on Telegram .

Context
People’s deputy Anton Polyakov died on the night of October 8, proceedings were opened under the article of the Criminal Code on intentional homicide with the note “natural death”. According to the reports of fellow People’s Deputies, the death of MP Anton Polyakov was confirmed at 2:45 am.
Previously, the law enforcement officers established that the man became ill while in the taxi, the ambulance doctors tried to resuscitate him, but declared him dead. According to the taxi driver, the passenger got into his car near the public transport stop in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, after which the latter felt sick and began to feel nauseous.
According to the prosecutor’s office, valuables, documents, mobile phone and cash were found and seized from the victim.
The car was inspected and seized, the driver was interrogated by investigators.
According to the results of the autopsy , Polyakov died as a result of acute coronary insufficiency, acute ischemic heart disease. At the same time, the law enforcement officers reported that methadone and diphenhydramine were found in the people’s deputy’s blood.
It should be added that Polyakova and Skorokhod had a relationship – it is known from open sources that they lived together. Also, Skorokhod reported that she was interrogated in the case of Polyakov’s death.
On November 18, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada supported the creation of a temporary investigative commission to investigate the death of People’s Deputy Anton Polyakov.
