This is an easy way to diversify your breakfast.
I have repeatedly spoken about the divine taste of roasted peppers. It can be eaten right out of the oven, added to pasta or salads, and made into wonderful sandwiches. I came up with two cool flavor combinations – sandwiches with pepper, feta cheese and ham. Amazingly delicious!
Preparation time – 10 minutes
Cooking time – 10 minutes
Ingredients:
Bulgarian pepper (red, yellow and green) – 3 pcs.
olive oil – 2-3 tbsp. l.
lemon – ½ pcs.
bread – 4-6 slices
feta cheese – 100 g
ham – 2-3 slices
salt and pepper – to taste
Step by step recipe:
Peppers (3 pcs.) Wash well and dry with paper towels. Often prick with a knife or toothpick, sprinkle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes until scorched.
Transfer the hot peppers to a bag (it is better to use a zip-pack) and leave for 10 minutes.
Peel the peppers, now it will be very easy to do. Remove the seed box. Cut peppers of different colors into cubes.
Combine all three peppers in one container. Add the zest of half a lemon, rubbing it on a fine grater. Sprinkle with lemon juice and pour 2-3 tbsp. l. olive oil. Taste with salt and pepper.
Dry slices of bread in a dry pan, oven or toaster. Spread feta cheese, crushed with a fork, on half of the bread slices (100 g will be needed).
Spread colored peppers on top of the cheese. Place the ham on the other half of the slices.
Also place the pepper on top of the ham. Add freshly ground pepper to taste.
