The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption proposed to include 1,413 managers and owners of Russian companies, including Lukoil and KamAZ, on the US sanctions list.

“NAZK processed the data on the sanctions imposed by the US on companies and found that no sanctions were imposed on the management and owners of these organizations. Therefore, NAZK identified 1,413 managers and owners of such companies and proposed to include them in the US sanctions lists,” the message reads.

The list of NACP includes:
• management of banks under US sanctions – the Central Bank of Russia, Sberbank, VTB Bank, Surgutnaftogazbank and others. It is proposed to apply US sanctions, in particular, to the chairman of the board of the Central Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina;
• management of oil and gas companies – Rosneft, Gazprom Nafta, Lukoil, Novatek. In particular, they initiated the imposition of US sanctions on Vagit Alekperov, the owner of Lukoil;
• management of large industrial enterprises, in particular companies of the military-industrial complex:
– Rostec Corporation, a large state defense conglomerate;
– concern “Kalashnikov”, which supervises the research and development of military technologies;
– the company “Kamaz”, the equipment of which is used, including, by the Russian military.
The National Security Agency also initiated the application of US sanctions against the head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, who is the chairman of the board of directors of the Tupolev company, and the general director of the Skolkovo technology park, Renat Batirov.
In addition, 341 companies whose owners or top management are under US sanctions were identified, including:
• companies belonging to oligarchs Viktor Vekselberg, Alisher Usmanov, the Rotenberg brothers, Oleg Deripaska, Serhii Chemezov and members of their families, to which US sanctions have already been applied;
• companies related to persons close to Putin – Alina Kabaeva, Kateryna Tikhonova (Putin), Yuriy Kovalchuk.
