The match of the 14th round of the Ukrainian Premier League took place at the Slavutych Arena in Zaporizhia, in which Mariupol hosted Oleksandriya.
The first fifteen minutes of the meeting are constant attacks from one side and the other. The ball practically did not linger in the center of the field – it is noticeable that the teams had a great desire to score.
Valeriy Luchkevych lost a good opportunity to open the scoring in the 15th minute. The footballer, having received a pass in the penalty area from Kirill Kovalets, skillfully dealt with two defenders and scored from a favorable position. After the break, the teams began to play more aggressive football. The hosts threw all their strength to win back, the Alexandrians also did not want to sit in defense. The high pace of the game once again testified to the great desire of both rivals to end this match on a major note, which managed only “Alexandria” – 1: 0.
