The Prime Minister noted that now there are no vacancies in the government, there are no acting ones – “all ministers are on the ground.”
“This imposes a certain responsibility on each minister, on the government as a whole, on me. I have always said and say: there are no inviolable governments, ministers, and prime ministers. Everyone should be responsible for the results of their work and be absolutely ready to leave their position in case of ineffective or incorrect work “, – says Shmygal.
He added that there are no untouchables and rotation in the government is possible.
“I have no specific candidates for today for consideration. But we understand that there is a certain dissatisfaction with individual ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, in committees … If it is necessary to make personnel decisions, such decisions will be made,” Shmygal said.
The Prime Minister noted that the issue of the resignation of the Minister of Healthcare Maxim Stepanov is so far the only point of tension that exists in relation to the ministers.
Recall that a source in the leadership of the Servant of the People faction told RBC-Ukraine that the Verkhovna Rada plans to dismiss Health Minister Maxim Stepanov.
Later it became known that signatures had been collected in parliament in order to submit the issue of resignation to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.
However, the head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia said that on May 13 the faction will hold a meeting to which the Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov will be invited. The issue of his resignation will be discussed.
