The Child Development project offers parents and teachers ten original tasks for the development of creative thinking, language, social and civic competencies of primary school children.

The implementation of the proposed tasks will contribute to the formation of children’s ability to express their thoughts freely, expand vocabulary, develop coherent written speech and spelling, as well as the imagination, fantasy, and creative literary abilities.
Cool and write: make a story. This task is aimed at developing children’s language competence. By completing the task, the child will learn to write creative stories. Based on the words chosen with the help of a spinner, the child should write an interesting story. The task will promote the development of imagination, fantasy, the ability to write creative works.
We compose stories with words on the letter “B” (Ukrainian language). This task will help develop the child’s imagination, reading, and writing skills. You need to come up with and write a story that will use as many words from the list as possible (you can add your words to the appropriate letter and change their form). By performing the task, the child will develop creative thinking and speech competence.
We are writing a story about the country. This task will contribute to the formation of social and civic competencies of primary school students. Completion of the task will contribute to the formation of ideas about the culture of different countries, improve graphic skills, expand vocabulary.
We make history №1: we use nouns. This task is designed to develop speech competence, consolidate the child’s knowledge of the noun, develop reading and writing skills. The page contains a list of words from which you need to select and circle only those words that are nouns. Next, you need to make a story with the selected words and write it down.
We write a happy and sad story. This task will help the child to develop imagination, skills of written coherent speech, to consolidate knowledge about parts of speech. The child is asked to fill in the blanks in two versions of the story about the athlete so as to form a happy and sad story. Performing tasks, the child will develop flexibility of thinking, learn to analyze scenarios, enrich vocabulary.
We supplement and illustrate the history of №1. This task will help the child to develop speech competence, develop writing, reading, and drawing skills. It contains a text called “Unusual Guest”. The child needs to imagine how events unfolded in this story and fill in the blanks at his own discretion. In this way, the child will create an original story, develop imagination and fantasy.
My mysterious story: we are writing a work. This task will help the child to develop the ability to write works on a template, learn to use words in the correct form, and expand vocabulary. Students are asked to fill in the blanks with words and phrases so that a mysterious story emerges, as well as to choose a title for it.
Interesting meanings: we supplement the story. This task will help the child learn to convey the main plot events of the story on the given beginning and end. Children are asked to consider the beginning and end of the stories and to write or draw what happened in the main part of each of them. By completing the task, the child will learn to convey basic information verbally or graphically.
Pirate’s dream: we complete the story and draw. This task will help the child learn to create a story based on a pattern. Students are asked to imagine themselves as a real pirate, write a short fictional story about themselves, filling in the blanks in the sentences, and draw a pirate, his ship, or treasure.
We write a fairy tale “inside out”. This task will help the child develop the ability to compose creative stories according to a template, learn to express opinions on behalf of different characters, and expand vocabulary. Pupils are asked to fill in the blanks with words and phrases so that there is a fairy tale about Little Red Riding Hood, told on behalf of Vovk.
