As it became known, soon browser users will be able to get the opportunity, thanks to which it will be possible to restore closed tabs without time delays.
If the user suddenly closes the tab, he can quickly restore it by pressing a special key. The recently closed page will be loaded from the browser memory cache, where the data is stored that can be requested with the highest probability.
It is known that this feature has not yet appeared in the Canary version. The software uses the same mechanism as the page forward and backward cache – BFcache. This is Google’s technology that allows you to instantly return to the pages you have already viewed. If the user accidentally closes the desired tab, the browser will not delete it from memory. Returning to the tab within fifteen seconds after closing, the information will be loaded from the cache, giving the impression of instant loading.
At the moment, new features are already being tested.
Earlier the publication “Comments” reported that the American company Google has been developing a useful function for its Chrome browser for several years. Users who found information in browser files told about the upcoming update. The new feature will be the performance of Chrome for personal computers. Read more about this in our article.
