They are characterized by redness and watery blisters that are difficult to heal. The scientific name of this plant, Heracleum, comes from the name of the ancient Greek character Hercules, as a symbol of incredible strength and irresistibility, ”warn biologists.
In addition, adults and especially children are misled by the bright red, juiced berries.
“Tempting poisonous plants called common wolf bast or wolfberries. For small, curious preschoolers, it is enough to eat 7-10 of these berries to cause significant poisoning or death. The insidiousness of the plant lies not only in the fruits. Leaves, bark, juice, even honey collected from this plant cause poisoning, ”they say in the botanical garden.
Dangerous and the fruit of the raven eye, reminiscent of blueberries.
“This plant is also very noticeable and attractive to look at. The raven eye is a poisonous plant. Its fruits, leaves, and roots are very dangerous, ”experts say.
Valuable, but deadly poisonous, hemlock is a killer herb. It produces active phytoncides that cause severe headaches when inhaled. The smell is especially strong in sunny, calm weather.
“In ancient Greece, hemlock was used as the“ official ”poison with which people sentenced to death were killed,” say biologists.
